Sant Mori Villas

Originally built during the 12th and 13th century, Castell Sant Mori underwent major renovations in the 15th century. This castle has three floors, a gardened terrace with covered lounge, and a swimming pool. All bedrooms feature unique furnishings and décor, which are inspired by the castle's history. The castle is located at Sant Mori, in the Ampurdan district of the Gerona province. This rural village of 120 inhabitants is located 20 km from Figueras, the capital of Ampurdan. The beaches of the Costa Brava towns of L'Escala, Sant Pere Pescador, and D'Empuries are 15 km away. Gerona (25 km) and Barcelona (130 km) are within driving distance. The French border is 40 km from the castle. The nearest train station is in Flassà (15 km); trains to the rest of Europe depart from Gerona. The nearest airport is located here. The international airport of Barcelona is located 130 km away, and the Perpignan Airport is located 50 km away. Gerona has interesting museums, such as the Archaeological Museum of Catalonia, the Cathedral Museum, the Art Museum, the City History Museum, the Museum of Jewish History, and the Cinema Museum. In Figueras, there is a Dali Museum, among others. There are eight golf courses located within the vicinity of Sant Mori. Castell Sant Mori has three floors. On the ground floor, there is a suite bedroom with queen size bed, en-suite bathroom with tub and dressing room, a summer kitchen with convenient access to the pool area, a meeting room, a games room, an interior courtyard, a utility room and a WC. The first floor has a spacious living room with fireplace, a dining room with a round table that seats 14 people, a second dining room with seating for 8 and a spacious kitchen. The master bedroom with twin beds has a fireplace, dressing room, and en-suite bathroom with Jacuzzi tub. There is also another twin-bedded room, with a dressing room and en-suite bathroom with shower. The third bedroom also has twin beds, with an en-suite bathroom with tub and an additional WC. There are four bedrooms on the second floor, a queen bedroom with fireplace and spacious en-suite bathroom with tub, three twin bedded rooms, one with an en-suite bathroom with shower, and two additional bathrooms with tubs (not en-suite). There's is also a utility room with a washing machine and dryer. The third floor has a spacious twin-bedded room, en-suite bathroom with tub, a living room and kitchen. In addition there is an apartment that includes twin beds, a bathroom with shower, dressing room, living room and a small room with a small single bed that is ideal for a child.
